Disney Vacation Club announces a New Hawaiian Resort

Walt Disney Parks and Resorts has announced it has finalized plans to purchase 21 acres of oceanfront property on Hawaii's island of Oahu.

Ko Olina Resort & Marina will be home to Disney's first family resort outside of its theme park developments and is scheduled to open in 2011. Plan are to have more than 800 units, including hotel rooms and Disney Vacation Club villas.
